Tanisha Tulloch is a partner at Torkin Manes LLP in Toronto, Ontario and a member of the firm’s Private Client Services and Litigation Groups. Her practice focuses on trusts and estates litigation, commercial litigation, and professional liability defence.
Tanisha represents individuals, trust companies, government agencies, and other institutions in a broad range of trust and estate disputes. Her work includes matters involving estates, trusts, capacity issues, fiduciary obligations, powers of attorney, guardianship applications, and estate administration disputes. She advises clients on issues involving estate trustees, estate trustees during litigation, trustees, attorneys for property and personal care, guardians, the validity of wills, and matters affecting minors and incapable persons.
In addition to her trusts and estates practice, Tanisha acts in commercial litigation matters involving contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, commercial collections, and allegations of fraud. She also represents barristers and solicitors in professional liability and errors and omissions claims.
Tanisha regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Court of Appeal for Ontario, and administrative tribunals.
She is Chair of Torkin Manes LLP’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
