Sylvie Bordet

I began my legal career in business law in Montreal in a leading national law firm. I then went to California for two years and discovered the world of technology start-ups, in which I continue to practice. Upon my return to Montreal, I worked at a national law firm, then with Blue HF. After a solo interlude, I am thrilled to be working with Blue HF’s great team again. I help my clients with their day-to-day corporate and commercial matters, as well as technology licensing and transfer, financings and merger and acquisitions transactions. I have an enduring interest in biochemistry and molecular biology, which I studied before law, and in ethical questions raised by biotechnology.
