Marcel Wessig studierte Rechtswissenschaften in Frankfurt am Main. Im Jahre 1996 wurde er als Rechtsanwalt zugelassen. Er war Partner in mittelständischen Frankfurter Anwaltskanzleien wie auch bei der internationalen amerikanischen Kanzlei Faegre & Benson LLP. Seit dem Jahr 2015 ist er Partner bei der Kanzlei Strauch Rechtsanwälte.
