Susan Rosen is a partner in the Real Estate and Financial Services groups at Gowling WLG and on the executive of Gowling’s Leasing and Real Estate National Practice groups. Susan brings her specialized understanding of leasing to a broad range of real estate, financial services and environmental law related areas, with an emphasis on commercial and retail leasing, secured financings, condominium law, commercial purchase and sale transactions, and environmental law. In her practice, she works on behalf of mid size and multinational corporations, REITs, financial institutions and credit unions, private and public sector retail and commercial tenants, not-for-profit organizations and office tenants. In addition to writing numerous papers, Susan has been a moderator and lecturer in connection with numerous conferences and seminars delivered to the OBA, ICSC, Toronto CREW Network and other professional organizations. She also regularly delivers lectures to clients and members of the firm on leasing, real estate, lending and environmental law issues. Susan has been quoted in a variety of articles appearing in The Globe and Mail and the Canadian Lawyer and recently moderated a webinar titled "Important Things You Should Know When Leasing Real Estate in Canada".
