As Senior Counsel in Peckar & Abramson PC's Houston office, Stormy Mayfield concentrates her practice on Construction Law, government contract litigation, and corporate law. She enjoys fostering strong relationships with her clients and works diligently to protect their interests and ensure the most beneficial outcome possible.
Stormy has extensive experience representing clients across the country in complex construction and government procurement matters, including bid protests, contract disputes, requests for equitable adjustments and administative appeals. She also regularly assists clients with drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on corporate formation, governance, and compliance matters to minimize risk and support business growth. Her construction litigation work includes resolving disputes related to commercial and residential construction defects, warranty issues, breach of contract claims between general contractors, subcontractors, and owners, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty suits. Prior to joining Peckar & Abramson, Stormy prosecuted and defended administrative protests before regional offices of the Small Business Administration, the Small Business Administration’s Office of Hearings and Appeals, the Government Accountability Office, and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. Stormy earned her B.A. in Psychology from Sewanee: University of the South and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law. She is a member of the Houston Bar Association.Stormy Mayfield
