As Senior Counsel in Peckar & Abramson’s Houston office, Stormy specializes in construction law and litigation, corporate law, and labor and employment litigation. She enjoys fostering strong relationships with her clients and works diligently to protect their interests and ensure the most beneficial outcome possible.
Stormy has spent the majority of her career assisting clients across the nation in a variety of complex litigation matters, with a focus on construction and labor, and employment. She also assists clients in drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on corporate formation, and governance and compliance matters in a proactive effort to avoid litigation. Prior to joining Peckar & Abramson, Stormy prosecuted and defended administrative protests before regional offices of the Small Business Administration, the Small Business Administration’s Office of Hearings and Appeals, the Government Accountability Office, and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.
She devotes much of her time towards resolving disputes related to commercial and residential construction defects, warranty issues, breach of contract claims between general contractors, subcontractors, and owners, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty suits, collective action wage and hour claims, employment discrimination, sexual/racial harassment, and wrongful discharge.
Stormy earned her B.A. in Psychology from Sewanee: University of the South and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law. She is a member of the Houston Bar Association.
