Steven L. Worley

Steven L. Worley is a shareholder in the firm’s Jacksonville (FL) office. His practice focuses on the representation of self-insured companies, insurers and corporations in the areas of general civil litigation, insurance defense, transportation, premises liability, construction defect, and commercial litigation. Steve has extensive experience with all aspects of litigation including discovery, hearings, motions, arbitrations, mediations and trials.

An AV Preeminent® rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell®, Steve is also a member of the Florida Bar, the Alabama Bar, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.

Steve has added mediation and alternative dispute resolution to his practice focus. He is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. As a mediator, Steve builds on his trial, legal and business expertise. He employs the skills and knowledge he developed as a trial lawyer in the resolution of difficult and high-value disputes. He is also well versed in handling multi-party global settlement conferences, ERISA disability claims, and first party property disputes.
