Stephen Swanson is an associate in Carr Allison’s Chattanooga (TN) office where his practice focuses on the defense of matters involving premises liability, transportation, workers’ compensation and general litigation.
Stephen is admitted to practice in Tennessee and Georgia. Additionally, he is admitted to practice before all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court and the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Stephen went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Georgia State University College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, he was the student writing editor for Law Review and a pupil of the Bleckley Inn of Court. Stephen earned two CALI Awards for the highest grades in Lawyering Foundations I and Research Methods in Law. Stephen also holds a paralegal certification from Emory University (GA).
A native of Chattanooga (TN), Stephen enjoys hiking, cooking and watching Atlanta Braves baseball.
