Stephanie Weschler

Stephanie Weschler is a partner in the Employment & Labour Group and a member of the Students & Stagiaires Committee in the Montréal office.

Stephanie's practice is focused on all aspects of employment law, with an emphasis on advising public and private companies on the employment and labour law aspects of purchase and sale transactions. Stephanie has strong expertise in private equity firm acquisitions and divestitures as well as in cross-border matters, acting for clients in Canada, the United States and internationally.

Stephanie works closely with her clients providing strategic and innovative advice on different aspects of employment issues faced by companies on a daily basis, and works closely with clients on drafting executive employment agreements, consulting agreements, change of control and retention agreements, restrictive covenants agreements, and equity and non-equity-based incentive compensation plans.

Stephanie also advises on all matters relating to executive compensation labour relation, human rights and workplace investigation.

Finally, Stephanie is experienced in the full range of alternative dispute resolution, including negotiation, mediation and settlement techniques.
