Tell us a little bit about your practice and what makes it unique.

I have experience with cross-border transactions, including advising clients with respect to federal and state tax obligations in Mexico; the application of international tax treaties, and the avoidance of double taxation. Currently, I am also specializing as a tax preparer in the U.S. With a dual understanding of United States and Mexican taxes I can comprehend from a more efficient perspective the needs of my clients with cross-border business, or with dual citizenship on their tax compliance, among others.

Describe one of your most interesting or memorable cases in the past year.

I participated as an international tax advisor in the sale of a public Mexican company on the sale of its U.S. subsidiaries to a U.S. public company in a $293 million transaction and as a day-to-day tax advisor of a Video game company with several cross-border transactions.
