Stéphanie joined the firm in 2001 and has been a partner since 2009. She is a member of the firm's Executive Committee. She began her practice in labour relations and civil litigation. Since 2006, she has mainly been working in employment law, occupational health and safety and health law.As part of her practice, she is called upon to advise and assist both health care system and private business managers.
She is consulted in contentious cases, prepares and drafts legal opinions and assists her clients in developing legal strategies. She regularly appears before administrative tribunals and common law courts.With respect to institutions within the health and social services network, Ms. Rainville’s primary focus is in the following areas: service provision (customer relations), civil and professional liability, the disciplinary process and information management (the protection of personal information or access to information).
Stephanie is a member of the Montreal Bar’s Legal Consultations Committee. She has been Co-coordinator of Legal Consultations for the Visez Droit trade show since 2011. She is a member of the Information and Referral Centre of Greater Montreal Foundation’s board of directors.
