Biography
Stephanie Hartmann's practice focuses on international economic regulation and trade policy, including trade remedies; WTO dispute resolution and market access issues; and sanctions, export control and customs matters. She frequently advises clients on high-stakes trade matters that implicate billions of dollars in international trade and has extensive experience developing policy initiatives and communications strategies to engage with government, industry and other stakeholders. She has extensive experience advising clients on classification, valuation, and non-preferential and preferential rules of origin under FTAs, including the unique rules that apply for key economic sectors such as agriculture, textiles, chemicals/pharmaceuticals, and automobiles, as well as how to structure supply chains to mitigate tariff impact.
