Stephanie Eiley is a partner in the Commercial Real Estate Group at Torkin Manes LLP in Toronto, Ontario. Her Real Estate Law practice focuses on advising clients on the acquisition, sale, development and financing of commercial real estate projects across a range of industries and property types.
Stephanie regularly represents landlords and tenants in matters involving condominium and multi-unit rental developments, commercial leasing arrangements and development-related agreements. She advises clients throughout all stages of real estate transactions, from due diligence and negotiation through to closing and ongoing operational matters.
Her practice includes drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial real estate agreements and documents, including agreements of purchase and sale, loan and security documentation, reciprocal easement and operating agreements, restrictive covenant agreements and commercial lease agreements.
Stephanie also advises on commercial development, conveyancing and financing matters involving planning and zoning considerations, title and off-title searches, and land transfer tax deferrals in corporate reorganizations. She has significant experience assisting clients with shopping centre and mixed-use development matters, including severances, cross easements and restrictive covenants.
