Dr. Stefan Fickert (born 1969) is a German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney based in Munich with Vossius & Partner Patentanwälte Rechtsanwälte mbB. His practice focuses on Intellectual Property Law, including patent matters involving complex chemical and scientific technologies.
Dr. Fickert studied organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry at the University of Erlangen/Nürnberg and the University of Rennes in France. He completed his diploma thesis in the field of heterogeneous catalysis. He later earned his Ph.D. at the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Mainz, where his research concentrated on the kinetics of heterogeneous reactions and analytical chemistry.
In 1998, Dr. Fickert began working in the field of intellectual property with VOSSIUS. He was admitted to practice as a German Patent Attorney (Patentanwalt) and as a European Patent Attorney in 2002. His work includes advising clients on patent prosecution and other matters related to Intellectual Property Law, particularly in chemistry-related technologies.
Dr. Fickert became a partner of the firm in 2007. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in European Intellectual Property Law, further supporting his work with international and European intellectual property matters.
