Sommer B. Sommer advises clients on construction contracts, design and consulting agreements, real estate transactions, and risk management issues arising during development and construction projects. Her litigation practice includes construction defect claims, product liability matters, insurance defense, and disputes involving commercial, residential, and condominium projects. She has handled claims involving roofing systems, water intrusion, HVAC systems, plumbing products, siding, and other construction-related issues.
Before entering private practice, Sommer worked for a Seattle mechanical and electrical engineering firm, giving her a practical understanding of technical construction and design issues.
