Ms. Hunt’s practice includes Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, and Banking and Finance Law. She advises businesses, developers, property owners, lenders, landlords, and tenants throughout Irvine, California and surrounding communities on a wide range of commercial transactions and disputes.
In her real estate practice, Ms. Hunt represents clients in acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, joint ventures, and real estate secured financing transactions. She has experience assisting clients with purchase and sale transactions involving raw land, multi-family housing, retail properties, industrial properties, office buildings, and mixed-use developments.
Ms. Hunt advises landlords and tenants in the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases, lease amendments, subordination, non-disturbance and attornment agreements, and estoppel certificates. Her leasing practice includes matters involving retail, industrial, and office properties.
Her corporate and transactional experience includes representing sponsors and business entities in the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of joint venture agreements. She regularly assists clients with management structures, distribution provisions, capital contribution matters, buy-sell arrangements, dispute resolution provisions, and exit strategies.
Ms. Hunt also represents borrowers and institutional lenders in a variety of banking and finance matters involving acquisition, construction, and permanent loans secured by commercial real estate. Her experience includes financing transactions involving multi-family developments, office and industrial buildings, retail centers, and mixed-use projects.
Ms. Hunt earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. Prior to law school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology.
