Before attending law school, Shearil earned a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management and gained hands-on experience in the private sector. Her professional background includes roles involving business operations, process improvement, human resources, and sales management. This experience provided her with a well-rounded understanding of organizational dynamics and the operational considerations that influence employment decisions.
