Sharon A. Huerta is a shareholder with Sullivan Hill and a member of the Construction and Insurance practice group. Ms. Huerta practices in all aspects of litigation, emphasizing in insurance coverage litigation and evaluation, bad faith, and developer representation.
In addition, Ms. Huerta has significant experience in appellate writing and was primarily responsible for drafting briefs in numerous successful published and unpublished opinions, including Pardee Construction Co. v. Ins. Co. of the West (2000) 77 Cal.App.4th 1340, Emerald Bay Community Assn. v. Golden Eagle Ins. Corp. (2005) 130 Cal.App.4th 1078, and Pulte Home Corp. v. American Safety Indem. Co. (2017) 14 Cal.App.5th 1086.
Ms. Huerta is a native of San Diego, and has practiced in San Diego for over 20 years. She attended and graduated magna cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 1996, where she received numerous scholarships and achievement awards. Ms. Huerta was also selected by her peers for inclusion in the 28th edition of Best Lawyers in America® in the field of Insurance Law.
