Ms. Caton practices in the areas of trusts and estates, including estate planning, estate and trust litigation, probate, elder law, disability planning, public benefits planning, and protective proceedings. She works with individuals and families in Englewood, Colorado and throughout the surrounding communities to address legal needs related to long-term planning, administration, and dispute resolution.
Ms. Caton began her legal career as an assistant district attorney, where she prosecuted numerous misdemeanor and felony cases before both judges and juries. This courtroom experience provides a strong foundation for her current work in estate and trust litigation, as well as contested probate and protective proceedings. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Ms. Caton continued her career in both public service and private practice.
Ms. Caton is an attorney with Caton Law LLC and focuses her practice on providing thoughtful and practical legal guidance in trusts and estates matters. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Douglas County Bar Association, and Phi Delta Phi.
