Q&A

Although I work on personal injury and medical malpractice cases, the main focus of my practice is on claims with the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. I have been working with survivors of the September 11th attacks for almost 10 years now, representing their individual claims or claims on behalf of their loved ones. Our firm has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of our clients, and while no amount of money can compensate for the tragedies of 9/11 and its aftermath, I am honored to represent these victims and help ease the burden of the pain suffered as a result of their exposure.

While all of my cases have been both interesting and memorable, I have had many 9/11 settlements that are notable. This past year, we were able secure a $1.19M award from the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund for a trading assistant working downtown on Wall Street on September 11th who developed cancer and severe neurological side effects as a result of treatment. We also obtained a $2.4M award on behalf of the family of a Local 3 electrical worker who volunteered at Ground Zero with the rescue and recovery teams, and ultimately passed away as a result of his 9/11 related leukemia. Another important award we obtained was $2.05M for an elevator constructor who suffered severe disabling back injuries on 9/11 requiring multiple spinal fusion surgeries.

Living on Long Island, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, the beach, hiking and true crime documentaries.

I also handle matters before the Surrogate Court including administration and probate petitions as well as compromising and distributing funds received from settlements obtained by the firm.
