Shane Landers

Shane Landers joined Mueller Family Law Group in 2018, beginning his career with the firm as a family law clerk for partners Jim Mueller and Rob McAngus. Based in Dallas, Texas, Shane practices exclusively in family law and represents clients in a wide range of matters involving divorce, child custody, and other family law issues. In recognition of his professional accomplishments, Shane was selected as Best Lawyer Under 40 by Dallas Magazine in 2023. He was also named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America and selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2024.

Shane earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas A&M University before attending Texas A&M University School of Law. During law school, he was a senior member of the Texas A&M Mock Trial team and competed in national trial competitions in cities including Chicago, San Diego, Houston, and Fort Worth. Shane also served as a senior staff member of the Texas A&M Law Review, where his work was published multiple times in the area of constitutional law.

Shane’s commitment to family law developed while serving as First Chair of the Texas A&M School of Law Family & Veterans Advocacy Clinic. In that role, he provided legal representation to individuals facing family law matters who otherwise lacked access to an attorney, gaining practical experience with real-world legal challenges affecting families.

Since joining Mueller Family Law, Shane has focused his practice on family law matters in Dallas and throughout North Texas. He represents clients in complex divorce proceedings and high-conflict child custody disputes, advocating for practical solutions both in and out of the courtroom while guiding clients through emotionally challenging legal processes.
