Shahrooz Nabavi is the Co-Leader of the Firm’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications and Emerging Technology and Venture Capital groups. Shahrooz maintains a practice focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions with an active transaction-oriented practice as well as supporting high-growth later stage venture backed companies and their board of directors in respect of governance, corporate and strategic advisory matters. He is primarily focused on technology and knowledge-based industries, representing emerging and later stage companies and investors in and acquirers of such companies.
Shahrooz represents clients in a broad range of corporate matters, including start-up formation, venture capital and private equity financings, strategic commercial arrangements, M&A transactions, and corporate governance. With extensive experience advising companies in across Canada, Shahrooz also acts as corporate secretary for numerous later-stage, high-growth technology companies and provides mentorship to many early-stage entrepreneurs within the emerging technology ecosystem.
