Sergio A. Castillo joined Monty & Ramirez LLP in 2025 and represents clients in a range of transactional matters from the firm’s Houston, Texas office. His practice includes Real Estate Law, with experience supporting commercial real estate transactions, contract negotiation, and business-related matters. Sergio is admitted to practice in Texas and is eligible to appear in jurisdictions recognizing the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE).
Sergio earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston, where he also completed a Transactional Law Practice Certificate focused on commercial and real estate transactions. He additionally holds a Master’s in Theological Studies from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
Before joining Monty & Ramirez LLP, Sergio worked on multiple multi-million-dollar commercial and real estate transactions, assisting clients with deal structuring, transactional planning, and contract matters. His background includes experience coordinating complex negotiations and helping businesses and property owners navigate legal and operational considerations related to transactions.
Sergio is also a Senior Fellow of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Leadership Forum, reflecting his ongoing involvement in leadership and civic engagement initiatives throughout the Houston community.
