Sean Watson

Sean Watson was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. He attended Campbell Collegiate before studying Biochemistry and Kinesiology at the University of Regina for three years. During his studies, Sean received the University of Regina Academic Silver Scholarship and earned Dean’s List recognition in Kinesiology. He later attended the University of Saskatchewan College of Law after being accepted in 2013 and was awarded the James M. Stevenson Scholarship.

While in law school, Sean co-founded the University of Saskatchewan Criminal Law Club, participated on the Western Canada Moot team, and received the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Western Moot Scholarship. He continues to mentor law students participating in the Western Canada Moot competition.

Sean practises primarily in Civil Litigation, with additional experience in Class Action Litigation and Construction Law matters. Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, he regularly appears before the Court of King’s Bench and has been involved in numerous jury and non-jury trials as both lead counsel and co-counsel.

In addition to his litigation practice, Sean assists clients with residential real estate transactions, including first-time home purchases, residential sales, and refinancing matters. He also provides legal services related to wills, estate planning, and estate administration.

Sean is a member of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association Board of Governors, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Regina Bar Association. He also volunteers with Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan through the Small Claims Clinic.

After working as a summer law student at Willows LLP in 2014 and 2015, Sean joined the firm as an articling student in 2016 under the mentorship of G. Gregory Willows, K.C. He completed his articles and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar on June 6, 2017. Sean continues to practise with Willows LLP as a Partner.

Outside of the office, Sean enjoys golf and photography.
