Sean F. Herrmann is a Partner at Herrmann & Murphy, PLLC in Charlotte, North Carolina. While in law school, he received the CALI awards in employment discrimination, labor law and the civil litigation clinic, and he served as notes editor for the University of Illinois Journal of Law, Technology & Policy. He also served on a national moot court competition team.
Along with practicing before all North Carolina and South Carolina state courts, he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of North Carolina as well as before the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.
Mr. Herrmann is a member of several local, state, and national bar associations, including the young lawyers division and employment law section of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice as well as the National Employment Lawyers Association. He is also heavily involved with the Mecklenburg County Bar, and he volunteers his legal services to those less fortunate throughout his community.
