Mr. Havlick has focused on non-patent intellectual property law at Holland & Hart since 1986. He co-chairs the firm's Intellectual Property Group and heads the firm's Trademark Practice. He concentrates on virtually all aspects of foreign and domestic trademark and domain name matters. He assists clients in selecting, searching, investigating, clearing, registering, and properly using their trademarks. Mr. Havlick has extensive experience in the licensing and enforcing of trademark and domain name rights through litigation in both the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and federal courts. He focuses his practice on assisting U.S. companies develop and execute their worldwide trademark protection strategies.
Mr. Havlick is also active in the rapidly evolving field of internet domain name protection and unique trademark issues arising on the web.
