Scott Chenevert focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt investments, joint ventures, energy-as-a-service, and corporate governance.
Scott has represented private and public companies in technology and professional services, energy and oilfield services, and real estate development industries. He also has extensive experience serving as outside general counsel for privately held and family companies.
Scott is the immediate past chair of the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Southeast Louisiana (SoLA) Super Region Committee, which he chaired in 2023. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) from 2006 to 2013, including as chairman in 2012.
Scott was named to Baton Rouge Business Report’s 2026 Capital Region 500, a list of 500 powerful and influential business and community leaders in Baton Rouge.
