Savannah Clifton is a Shareholder in the Orlando office of DownsAaron PLLC, where she represents businesses, hospitals, higher education institutions, and individuals in commercial litigation matters. Her practice focuses on complex disputes involving breach of contract claims, data breach litigation, business torts, and other high-stakes matters that require strategic and detail-oriented advocacy in both state and federal courts.
Savannah has experience assisting clients through all stages of litigation, including pre-suit strategy, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and appeals. She has assisted in defending appellate matters involving punitive damages claims, data breaches, and breach of contract disputes, helping clients address significant financial and operational risks.
Before entering private practice, Savannah served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Anne C. Conway of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in Orlando. Her clerkship provided extensive experience with federal litigation procedures and complex legal issues, which continues to inform her approach to commercial litigation matters.
Savannah earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida, where she studied political science, sociology, and psychology. She later earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Florida Moot Court Team and competed in the Final Four exhibition. She also served as Vice President of the University of Florida’s Law Association for Women.
A fourth-generation Central Floridian and third-generation University of Florida graduate, Savannah maintains strong ties to the Orlando community she serves.
