I take pride in the personal representation of each and every one of my clients, treating them as though they are a part of my family. For survivors of abuse, the legal process can be overwhelming. I strive to provide not just aggressive advocacy, but also a comforting resource through what is often the most difficult journey of their lives.

For sexual abuse survivors, the most common question is: "Is it too late to pursue my case?"
In California, recent changes to the law have expanded the statute of limitations so that claims for childhood sexual abuse may be filed until someone turns 40 years old. Changes to law have also opened windows for sexual assault survivors to bring claims that were previously time-barred — including cases involving abuse that occurred decades ago. I recently helped a client recover $13 million for sexual abuse by a religious institution that allegedly occurred more than 40 years ago.
Survivors also ask: "Will I have to relive my trauma?"
I understand how difficult it is to come forward. Even prior to representing clients in their civil claims, I have handled Marsy's Law representation of victims in criminal proceedings. I've been directly involved in advocacy for changes to legislation for the protection of children and vulnerable adults. My goal is to seek accountability and justice while providing compassionate support every step of the way.

One of my most significant cases at Easton & Easton involved a survivor of sexual abuse by a religious institution — abuse that allegedly occurred more than 40 years ago.
Despite the passage of time and the challenges of proving decades-old allegations, we secured a $13,000,000 settlement in what became a significant bellwether case. The institution had denied responsibility for years, but through persistent investigation and litigation, we held them accountable.
For this client, it was never about the money — it was about being heard and holding the institution accountable for failing to protect children in their care. That's the human story behind every case I take.*

Sexual abuse cases are among the most challenging in the legal profession — both legally and emotionally.
Legally, these cases often involve decades-old allegations, institutional cover-ups, and defendants with vast resources who are determined to protect their reputations at all costs. Proving what happened and negligence of institutional defendants requires extensive investigation, expert witnesses, and the ability to navigate complex legal and factual issues.
Emotionally, these cases require a level of sensitivity that goes beyond typical litigation. Survivors are reliving the worst experiences of their lives. They need an advocate who will fight aggressively for them while also providing compassion and support.
I've dedicated my practice to these cases for years. It's difficult work, but it's the most meaningful work I've ever done.

Early in my career, I worked in civil defense litigation — representing institutional clients in construction defect, real estate, and business matters. It was good work, but it didn't feed my soul.
When I transitioned to representing survivors of childhood sexual abuse, everything changed. I saw firsthand how the legal system could give voice to people who had been silenced for years — sometimes decades. I saw how holding institutions accountable could not only provide compensation for survivors but also force systemic changes that protect future children.
That's when I knew I had found my calling. For more than 15 years, I've been privileged to help advocate for survivors and fight against the institutions that failed to protect them. When Easton & Easton approached me and I was given the opportunity to lead their new Sexual Assault department, I knew it was the right fit — a firm that shares my passion for fighting Goliaths on behalf of those who can't fight alone.

I cherish my time with my wife and three children. We're all soccer fans — loyal supporters of LAFC and Manchester United.
Soccer has been a huge part of my life. At UC Irvine, I was captain of the men's soccer team and was named Big West Conference Defensive Player of the Year and an Academic All-American. These days, you'll find me coaching, watching, or playing soccer whenever I can.

As sexual abuse claims in California have unfortunately increased in recent years, I felt compelled to help Easton & Easton build a trusted resource for survivors seeking justice. The firm's family-centered approach and commitment to fighting for the underrepresented aligned perfectly with my values.
My experience includes high-profile cases against some of the largest public and private institutions in the country. I've handled Marsy's Law representation of victims in criminal proceedings and have been directly involved in advocacy for changes to legislation for the protection of children and vulnerable adults.
If you or someone you love is a survivor of sexual abuse, I want you to know: it's not too late. Again, recent changes in California law have expanded the statute of limitations so that claims for childhood sexual abuse may be filed until someone turns 40 years old and therefore opened new windows for justice. And at Easton & Easton, we treat every client like family.
