Sara advises businesses and their owners on tax, estate planning and business matters from formation through exit and all along the way. Sara enjoys working closely with our clients and their other advisors to resolve complex problems, paying careful attention to the considerations most important to the client.
Sara has extensive experience advising clients on all aspects relating to taxes, including income, estate, gift and generation skipping transfer taxes.
Sara’s experience at preparing comprehensive and sophisticated estate plans (including wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney and related documents) allows her to help each client develop an estate plan that is personalized to his or her needs and family. Sara regularly counsels wealthy individuals and their families in developing and implementing multi-generational planning for the transfer of wealth (including businesses) to younger generations with minimum gift, income, generation-skipping transfer and estate taxes.
Sara’s practice involves all aspects of federal income taxation, including pass-through entities, such as partnerships, limited liability companies and S corporations, as well as C corporations.
Sara represents limited liability companies taxed as partnerships or as disregarded entities and their owners in structuring entities and transactions to achieve their many goals.
