Sandro Nücken

Dr. Sandro Nücken is a partner at RSM Ebner Stolz in Munich. He advises clients on all national and international VAT matters and represents them in dealings with the tax authorities, as well as the tax courts. He has particular expertise in international issues, M&A transactions, advising foreign taxable persons, as well as offering support with VAT audits, appeals and legal proceedings. He also supports clients in submitting VAT-relevant returns in Germany and abroad. Another focus are Green Taxes (Plas­tic ta­xes, CBAM, Ein­weg­kunst­stoff­fonds­ge­setz (EWK­FondsG) etc.).

Sandro is the German correspondent for the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) for VAT, a member of the International VAT Club and of the Tax Committee of the Franco-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris. In 2017, Sandro was seconded for several months to the French law firm CMS Francis Lefebvre in Paris. As part of his legal clerkship, he was seconded from the Federal Foreign Office to the OECD (Office of the German Permanent Representation) in Paris.

Sandro is fluent in German, English and French. He is a Fachanwalt für Steuerrecht (specialist lawyer for tax law) and regularly publishes specialist articles and lectures on VAT topics.
