Samantha Gou

Samantha is an Accredited Specialist in property law. She acts for real estate investment trusts, property developers and private clients across the commercial, retail, healthcare and renewable energy sectors, with a focus on complex leasing, property acquisitions and disposals, and property due diligence.

Her experience includes:

• acting for Mirvac in respect of the demolition component of its $2 billion redevelopment of Harbourside Shopping Centre
• acting for GPT in relation to its commercial leases across Darling Park's three-tower complex, collectively leasing approximately 30,000 square metres of new space within a 12 month period
• advising GPT in negotiating the renewal of ANZ Banking Group’s lease of its Sydney headquarters at Liberty Place (16 levels with a net lettable area of 21,211 square metres)
• acting for Stockland in respect of its $315 million divestment of Stockland Glendale, being one of the largest retail transactions in NSW to settle in 2024
• advising Frasers Property Australia on leasing arrangements for ECQ Outlet in Greater Western Sydney
• advising Precept Property Group on the acquisition of Katoomba Village shopping centre and Bathurst Home Centre.

Samantha has been appointed as a committee member of the NSW Law Society’s Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee (Property Law) (effective from 1 July 2026).
