Sam Bass is a personal injury attorney based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, serving individuals and families throughout the region through his work with Stewart Law Offices. He is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and in multiple federal courts. His practice focuses on Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs and Workers’ Compensation Law – Claimants, including matters involving car accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, motorcycle accidents, and on-the-job injuries. Sam is driven by a commitment to helping injured people navigate complex legal systems and pursue accountability from insurance companies and corporations.
Sam earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2008. Prior to law school, he graduated from Washington & Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following his undergraduate studies, Sam combined his interest in service and cultural exchange by teaching English to preschool students in Taiwan. After law school, he received a full scholarship from the Ministry of Education to study Chinese at National Taiwan University. These experiences helped shape his communication skills and his ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Before joining Stewart Law Offices in 2015, Sam gained courtroom experience as both a prosecutor and a private practice attorney, handling a wide range of cases. That background informs his approach to representing injured clients, with an emphasis on preparation, advocacy, and clear communication. In 2019, Sam became a certified mediator, further expanding his ability to help resolve disputes efficiently when appropriate.
Outside of his legal practice, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children. Sam remains committed to serving the Spartanburg community and supporting clients who have been injured and are seeking guidance through the legal process.
