Sadia Malik

Sadia Malik is an attorney at Sbaiti & Company in Newark, New Jersey, where she represents plaintiffs in mass tort litigation and class actions. Before becoming an attorney, Sadia spent nearly a decade working as a paralegal, with much of her career focused on complex mass tort matters. Her experience includes work on high-volume litigation involving transvaginal mesh, hernia mesh, proton pump inhibitors (PPI), Invokana, Zantac, Benicar, Tylenol, Roundup, Mirena IUD, 3M Combat Arms earplugs, DePuy Pinnacle hip replacement, and Camp Lejeune toxic water claims.

Through her work on these matters, Sadia developed experience in case development, litigation strategy, client communication, discovery review, and settlement processes. Her background provides her with a practical understanding of the progression of complex litigation and the challenges individuals and families may face when pursuing legal claims involving defective products, dangerous drugs, and toxic exposure.

While attending law school, Sadia served as Senior Associate Editor of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter, the nation’s first legal periodical dedicated to women’s rights and gender law. Her involvement with the journal strengthened her interest in advocacy and civil justice, particularly for individuals whose concerns may otherwise go unheard within the legal system.
