Ryan Flanagan is an attorney with Claggett & Sykes Law Firm in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he is part of the firm’s mass tort and litigation team. His practice includes Commercial Litigation, Corporate Law, and Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants. Ryan represents clients in complex legal matters involving industrial safety issues, product defects, and personal injury claims.
Before entering private practice, Ryan served twenty years in the United States Air Force and retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. While on active duty, he attended night school at the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor. He has practiced law since 2020, drawing on both his legal training and his military background to address high-stakes disputes and risk-focused litigation.
During his military career, Ryan worked as a munitions inspector and munitions security manager and was responsible for developing strategies aimed at reducing workplace injuries. He led OSHA and industrial safety programs and spent several years in Quality Assurance, serving as a military auditor for private industrial contractors. This experience provides him with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, corporate safety practices, and operational risk in industrial and commercial environments.
Ryan applies his background in military leadership, safety oversight, and auditing to advocate for clients facing complex litigation in Nevada courts. His approach is informed by real-world experience with corporate operations, safety standards, and dispute resolution.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys playing golf and following Las Vegas sports, including the Golden Knights and the Raiders.
