Ryan Cosmopulos is an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Corporate Transactions practice group. Ryan focuses his practice on business transactions, emerging companies, and general corporate work.

My focus

M&A and Corporate TransactionsI represent public and private companies in a variety of matters, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, licensing, and other strategic transactions. I provide companies of all sizes with due diligence and early risk detection in M&A transactions, drafting transaction documents and facilitating closing and post-closing mechanics. Emerging CompaniesI counsel clients on various aspects of their early and mid-stage growth periods, including review of their Confidential Information Memorandum in preparation for pitches to raise additional capital or target a potential acquirer. General Corporate

I counsel public and private companies on corporate and business law matters, with a focus on providing strategically drafted agreements, organizational documents, and resolutions.

Looking ahead

As we enter this post-pandemic period, M&A activity will continue to flourish through the remainder of 2021. The tech and software space will continue to see tremendous activity as businesses that create and drive efficiency will continue to attract buyers that wish to expand and deepen their offerings in a world that has a stronger appetite for technology driven solutions than it has in years past.
