Rusty Reviere maintains a civil trial practice with an emphasis on Insurance Law, including first-party bad faith defense, premises liability, professional negligence, insurance fraud, construction disputes, bodily injury claims, and insurance coverage matters. He represents clients in high-exposure and complex litigation in both state and federal courts across Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, and Louisiana. Rusty has also handled a wide range of appellate matters in the Courts of Appeal in all three grand divisions of Tennessee, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
In addition to his litigation practice, Rusty serves as a mediator for a broad spectrum of civil disputes, assisting parties in working toward resolution both before and during litigation.
Rusty is also actively involved in legal writing and professional education. He regularly authors publications and presents at continuing legal education programs, with a focus on practical litigation topics for attorneys, including those early in their careers, as well as presentations for other professional groups and law enforcement. He practices in Jackson, Tennessee, and is a member of Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell PLC.
