For more than 33 years, Roy has advised individuals, families, family offices, and related businesses on a range of trust and estate planning matters, including plans involving international and cross-border considerations.
Before joining McLeod Law LLP in 2009, Roy served as in-house legal counsel to major Canadian and international financial institutions. His career included 10 years working in Bermuda and Switzerland.
Roy is a member of the UK Canada Chamber of Commerce. He is fluent in French and has functional proficiency in German. Roy also serves as Honorary Consul of France (Emeritus) and as an Honorary Trade Commissioner for France (Conseiller au commerce extérieur).
