Ron graduated from Queens University in 1978 with an Honours Degree in Psychology and from Queen’s University Law School in 1981 . He was a member of the only Queen’s varsity men’s hockey team to win an Ontario championship.

Ron was called to the Bar in 1983 and was a senior partner with Strike Furlong Ford until February 1, 2016 when he merged his practice with the partners of Davidson Cahill Morrison LLP where he is now counsel. Ron practices exclusively in the area of Personal Injury Law. He did insurance defense work but now represents plaintiffs only.

He has successfully litigated numerous catastrophic injury cases at local, national and international levels. He has represented seriously injured clients for over 32 years and lectured extensively on personal injury issues.

He is a proud member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association, Durham Region Law Association and Canadian Bar Association and a Certified Risk Manager.

He is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys golf, tennis, skiing & windsurfing.
