Rolando Zárate Guzmán

Founding member and partner since 2016 of the Mexican recognised litigations boutique, Malpica, Iturbe, Buj & Paredes.

Rolando Zarate’s practice focuses on civil, commercial, administrative and constitutional litigation, as well as ADRs and bankruptcy proceedings.

He has successfully represented companies, financial entities and individuals before the Mexican Supreme Court, federal and local courts, and arbitral panels, and before administrative authorities.

Ranked and recognised by national and international publications as an “Excellent Litigator” and one of the next generation of lawyers.

Mr Zarate holds an LLM from Georgetown University with a certificate in international arbitration and dispute resolution. He holds his JD from “Universidad Iberoamericana”, and is admitted to practise law in Mexico since 2008.
