He has also been a professor at the Catholic University Law School.
Mr. Zegers is a founding partner of Rivadeneira Colombara Zegers. Prior to founding Rivadeneira Colombara Zegers, Mr. Zegers worked as an attorney for the National Defense Council, in charge of defending government interests in complex criminal litigation. He was also senior counsel for the Health Management Organization Commission (Superintendencia de Isapres) and an attorney for the Rettig Commission.
Thanks to his skills as a litigator and negotiator and his more than 35 years of experience, Mr. Zegers has become one of the few expert criminal litigators in Chile, but one whose point of view is multidisciplinary. He has been lead counsel in lawsuits of great relevance in Chile.
His experiencie includes representing the interests of his clients in civil and commercial arbitration and litigation involving bankruptcies and complex negotiations.
Mr. Zegers has been recognized in different rankings for his experience in Criminal Defense, Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation and Insolvency and Reorganization Law.
