Rod J. Wasylyshyn

Rod is a senior civil litigation partner with 24 years of experience. He has extensive trial, appellate, mediation and arbitration experience including complex multi-party litigation. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada for 2021 and 2022 in the area of construction law. Rod regularly acts for and advises owners, developers, construction managers and general contractors on a wide range of development, real estate, condominium, property, contract and construction related litigation matters. He remains current with the dynamic nature of the development and construction industry through participation in industry organizations and is knowledgeable and experienced with complex areas of law as well as development and construction process and practice. He enjoys a good reputation with Alberta courts having been appointed by the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta to act on behalf of the Court as an Independent Supervising Solicitor, on several sensitive litigation matters which required Court supervision.
