Robin M. Gaskins is an attorney in Selzer Gurvitch’s Trusts and Estates practice group in Bethesda, Maryland. She advises individuals and families on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax planning matters. Robin works closely with personal representatives and trustees to help guide the administration of estates and trusts while developing estate plans tailored to each client’s goals, family dynamics and long-term planning needs. Her practice includes the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, advance medical directives and a variety of trust arrangements.
Before becoming an attorney, Robin worked as a paralegal in matters involving commercial civil litigation, personal injury and condemnation cases. Her broad legal background provides her with a practical and detail-oriented approach to trusts and estates matters and allows her to assist clients through complex legal and administrative processes with thoughtful guidance and clear communication.
Robin is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland. She was also recognized as a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction based on peer recognition and professional achievement.
In addition to her legal practice, Robin is active in the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in the Law, where she serves as Treasurer of the Executive Committee for the 2025 and 2026 term. She is committed to supporting the advancement and professional development of women in the legal profession.
A native of Montgomery County, Maryland, Robin is a veteran of the United States Army and remains closely connected to the Bethesda and greater Maryland community. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dogs and reading.
