Robin has extensive expertise in administrative law, both in practice and academia. Robin is Emeritus Professor of Law in the College of Law at the Australian National University, where her research is focused mainly on administrative law and military law. Her main research interests are in administrative law, particularly the impact of judicial review cases, statutory interpretation, and the position of tribunals in the Australian system of government. Robin’s current teaching interests are in the public law sphere, particularly administrative law and military law. She has broad experience in regulation and administrative law as previous Commissioner of the ACT’s Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission (ICRC) and one of the longest serving members of the Administrative Review Council. She was also the Integrity Advisor to the Australian Taxation Office and is a member of the Administrative Law Committee of the Law Council of Australia.
