Robert Vining

Robert Vining is a partner in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office. A seasoned attorney with expertise spanning more than a dozen practice areas, he is a respected figure in his field who is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, the Louisiana State Bar Association, The Mississippi Bar and in nine U.S. District Courts across the Gulf Coast.

Mr. Vining arrived to SBSB Eastham in February 2018 and has overseen a prolific law career of more than 28 years. He primarily splits his practice between litigation and transactional work, including negotiating contracts, managing vessel financing and performing general corporate work. Peer rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, he has been recognized as achieving the highest level of professional excellence in his field. Outside of his primary practice in the courtroom, he has served as a panel member for multiple CLEs and maritime presentations.

A graduate of the University of Mississippi as an undergraduate, MBA and Juris Doctorate, Mr. Vining boasts a well-rounded background that has imbued him with a deep business and law acumen.
