Family Law: Arbitration and Mediation
Robert D. Perrone is an experienced attorney with an accomplished track record for winning complex family and civil litigation. Prior to joining Griffiths Law, he worked at a National law firm where he managed caseloads in both Illinois and Colorado and was able to hone his trial skills. Robert is particularly satisfied when advocating for his clients to make sure his cases have the best possible outcome.
Robert received his Juris Doctorate (JD) from Northern Illinois University, where he sat on the board as the Master of the Bench for the law school Mock Trial committee. Beforehand, he graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors of Business & Marketing. Robert devoted time in law school to volunteering at the Zeke Giorgi Legal Clinic where he appeared before judges and represented clients who were involved in various legal matters ranging from family law to criminal law.
Prior to attending law school, Robert worked as a paralegal for five years at one of Chicago’s largest law firms, where he drafted legal documents and conducted in-depth legal research and analysis in anticipation of litigation. Robert worked on several high-profile cases, including one that had a $2 billion favorable outcome for his firm’s client. This success affirmed Robert’s passion for the law and influenced his decision to attend law school.
When not in the office, Robert volunteers both his athletic coaching and legal skills. Robert has coached youth baseball and has also volunteered his legal expertise through Pro-bono client representation. In his free time, Robert enjoys attending sporting events and concerts. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Edith, and their two dogs: Shiloh and Mago.
