Robert M. Stewart

Robert Stewart practices business law and has a broad range of experience in the areas of private and public M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions, joint ventures and partnerships, investment fund formation, and the negotiation of major services and outsourcing arrangements. Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Robert worked in the area of international taxation law at one of the world’s leading professional services firms. Robert provides legal advice and services to all manner of clients, including public and private companies, large and small businesses, and financial institutions. He has a particular interest in advising start-ups and other emerging technology businesses. He has also advised on several leading social finance transactions. Robert’s approach is practical but creative, and is in touch with the specific needs of his clients
