Robert K. “Rob” Jenner founded Jenner Law, P.C. in 2018, focusing his practice on helping people harmed by the wrongful conduct of others. His practice includes personal injury, sexual and clergy abuse, product liability, mass torts, nursing home abuse, and therapy abuse. What he enjoys most about practicing law is continuing his family's tradition of social activism by representing people against large, well-funded institutions.
With more than four decades of experience representing injured consumers, Rob is a career trial lawyer known for his empathetic, non-judgmental approach and his commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect. Several members of his team have worked alongside him for decades, helping to build a culture of collaboration, compassion, and professionalism that carries over into every client relationship. Rob regularly represents clients who have experienced profound physical, emotional, and psychological trauma and works to ensure they are not retraumatized by the legal process after suffering the harm that brought them to his firm.
Of working with Rob, fellow lawyers have said, “Rob Jenner and his firm are the model for caring, compassionate, and effective lawyers. Rob is a listener. He makes sure that he hears you, understands you, and that your voice will be heard.” Former clients have said, “Rob Jenner treated me like a person, not a payday. I could contact him directly if I wanted to, and his staff was always polite and willing to help with any questions I had.”
Rob graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1982. He earned his law degree, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1985. He is licensed to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Massachusetts, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the District of Maryland and the District of Columbia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Throughout his career, Rob has received numerous professional honors and recognitions. He was named Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” in Baltimore for Products Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs (2022), Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Plaintiffs (2017 and 2013), and Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs (2016). He has been recognized in Best Lawyers® every year since 2006 for Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Plaintiffs, Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs, and Product Liability Litigation – Plaintiffs. Rob also holds an AV Preeminent® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has been selected to the Maryland Super Lawyers list every year since 2007, received the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from the Maryland Association for Justice, and was recognized by The National Law Journal and The Trial Lawyer Magazine as one of "America's 52 Most Influential Trial Lawyers."
A frequent lecturer and author, Rob is a sought-after speaker at legal conferences across the country. He served as President of the Maryland Association for Justice and is an active member of the American Association for Justice, the Maryland Association for Justice, the Trial Lawyers Association of Washington, D.C., and the Maryland State Bar Association. He is also a regular contributor to TRIAL magazine and has developed a particular interest in teaching how artificial intelligence can help plaintiffs' lawyers compete more effectively against larger, better-funded opponents.
Giving back has long been part of Rob's philosophy. Beyond representing clients, he has fostered a culture of community service within Jenner Law. The firm's Jenner Law Donor Fund regularly supports charitable organizations selected by employees, including programs addressing food insecurity, veterans' services, women's safety, and animal protection. Jenner Law also sponsors two annual "Make a Difference" Scholarships for college and graduate students committed to improving the lives of others.
Outside the office, Rob is happily married to Beth Graham, also a trial lawyer. Rob has two adult children, Matt and Nikki. He is a Certified Master Scuba Diver with specialty certifications in Rescue Diver, Wreck Diver, Night Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver, and Boat Diver. On a perfect day, you'll find Rob underwater with a camera, photographing tiny marine life. Rob and Beth also enjoy fostering rescue dogs until they find their forever homes.
