Rob Carty has been litigating cases for more than 30 years. During that time, he has handled a wide range of disputes and developed extensive courtroom experience. He began his legal career in the United States Air Force, serving four years as a judge advocate.
After his military service, Rob spent years working within the corporate legal environment, gaining firsthand insight into how large companies and insurance carriers evaluate and defend claims. That background informs his approach today as he represents individuals and families.
Based in Houston, Texas, Rob practices with Suits & Boots Injury Lawyers. His work includes matters involving Employment Law - Management and Litigation - Labor and Employment, along with other complex litigation. He focuses on preparing cases thoroughly and advocating for clients throughout the litigation process.
Rob has handled litigation in courts across the country. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Texas Supreme Court, all other state and federal courts in Texas, nine of the thirteen U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals, and several military courts.
Rob has also received recognition within the legal community. He has been honored by the Irish Legal 100 each year since 2020. He has served on the Board of Advisers for the Academy of American Legal Writers and participated on the critical-reading panels for Black’s Law Dictionary and Garner’s Modern American Usage. He also previously co-chaired a national appellate practice at a major law firm.
