Robert G. Boyle is an attorney in the Commercial Real Estate section at Spotts Fain PC in Richmond, Virginia. His practice focuses on Real Estate Law, including the acquisition, sale, financing, development, and leasing of commercial real estate properties throughout the United States. Mr. Boyle has served as outside real estate counsel to a national entertainment company for more than fifteen years, assisting with the acquisition and disposition of properties and the negotiation of multi-site master leases, ground leases, reciprocal easement agreements, and shared use and development agreements. He also represents real estate funds, real estate investment trusts (REITs), tenant-in-common syndicators, and other pooled investment entities in complex commercial real estate matters.
In addition, Mr. Boyle advises clients on IRS Section 1031 exchanges and sale-leaseback transactions, helping businesses and investors navigate the legal and operational considerations associated with these arrangements.
