Robert Carvalho

Robert Carvalho is a partner practising in Thorsteinssons' Vancouver office.

Robert received his Bachelor of Science in 1985 and LLB in 1991 from UBC and has been a member of the Law Society of BC since 1992. Mr. Carvalho specializes in high-value tax avoidance and GAAR cases and cases involving real estate. Robert was General Counsel at the Department of Justice and handled numerous significant cases at the Tax Court and Federal Court of Appeal. He has presented at the Canadian Tax Foundation, Canada Revenue Agency conferences and other conferences over the years.
